Springy Wednesday

Good morning

Coffee breaktime - so time for a quick blog !

Just to let you know the 2 ladybird books have been offered new homes and they are in my posting pile for later - along with a birthday swap parcel for someone who has a birthday this weekend ;)

What a lovely morning its turning out to be - the sun is winning which is good news for my ever growing washing heap.

Whilst taking load two out, I noticed that my little pear tree has burst into flower;

Hoping that this year it might produce more than 2 pears!!

I was adding photos to my various folders earlier and found a couple on the camera that I meant to add to a blog post last week - really my memory is getting pretty bad.

I made this button picture for my Mum for Mothering Sunday - have seen similar ones online for silly money;

She was thrilled with it - all her favourite colours in there.

I took another batch of teacup pincushions to the shop at the beginning of last week - I know some of them sold over the weekend ;

Right back to housework I go.

Have a good day - hope you've all got some sunshine.

See you soon

What a great way to show off a collection or use up some odd buttons. I really want to have a go at one of these, might try in half term with Em's.

Well done with the sales ~ keep up the stitching xx

Wow, love your button heart pictures for your mum, really beautiful and as you say so much cheaper and more fun to make. Beautifil tea cup pin cushions too xox I have an apple tree growing in a huge pot and it produced 2 apples last year, I was over the moon x

Teacup pin-cushions are such a simple but effective idea - love them! You need to talk to your pear tree very nicely.

Gorgeous makes, I made something for my mum too, and it's so much more satisfying than buying something. Well done on selling your lovely pincushions, if I have any teacups left without candles in I might try that (not that I need another pincushion though!).

I have a pear tree in my garden which is quite well established and it goes mad in the autumn, pears the size of butternut squash - I have to stew and freeze gallons! Once it gets going hopefully it will be like mine. So pretty right now though.

The button pic is a very clever idea - as are the pincushions, love them all! I could say that they are my cup of tea, but that would be a terrible pun, wouldnt it....

yes - plenty of sunshine here in manchester (not often we say that!)
Loving your teacups - great idea.
And the buttons - there are some ridiculously priced versions of that around - although someone must be buying them!
hope you have a good weekend,
