Vintage, floral and Cath :)

Good afternoon

How's your week going?  Not too bad here - sun has finally re-appeared which has made everyone happy.  The boys & I braved Ipswich yesterday - we needed to a return to school shop - not too much but enough to make your face contort when you add up the total spend! That was with us being good and searching for bargains etc.

Re. my last post - the boys weren't too bored for long - they discovered a laser shooting, inflatable game thingie and they spent alot of time in there.

Back to my hols - seems like we've been home for far longer than a week.

Beaulieu was always aimed as a day out for the boys - actually it turned out there was lots there for me too.

Gorgeous gardens;

A wonderful little side exhibition about vintage camping and caravanning - lots of lovely picnic sets;

Of course, you'd need the right car for these - plenty of classics to choose from -here's what I'd have IF I could drive;

On the Friday we headed to Bath for my special day out - lunch in Pizza Express and trip to a store that I must be the only person in blogland not to visit - Ms Kidston's shop of gorgeous things!!  Did I buy? Well I'd been saving hard, so yes I treated myself to a few bits;

A new mini handbag (a kids one - much cheaper), a 2011 diary, some postcards, new season badges and a magnetic organiser for my kitchen (no idea if that will help).

Also on the sale rail was the most gorgeous dress - my colours, my size and within my budget! I know I shall be wearing this loads and loads - is perfect for almost all year round :)

Off to S&B later - really missed it the past couple of weeks.

BTW - anyone else having trouble with blogger & uploading photos???

That vintage camping stuff looks fantastic......I dream of owning a vintage caravan.....pretty dress too. That new post editor on blogger is driving me nuts, I have spent the best part of the afternoon loading photo's from one place to another just to get them on my blog......

Loving your CK purchases, there is nothing like a bit of a shop in CK to lift ones spirits!

Sounds like you had a great holiday.

I often wonder about those organisers too. I really think you are either organised or you aren't. Afterall it's probably the organised sort that invent such things. I'm just going to do my best and fumble along. Still it must be nice to have a CK one so it will look pretty even if it doesn't work!

Love that show you went to. What a great lot of picnic baskets. It's so in fashion right now so must have been very interesting. Oh and I've never been to a CK shop either.

I like the look of that exhibition at Beaulieu. I've never made in it a Ck shop yet!
Lovely new top and other pretties you got though.

You were not alone - I've not been in a CK store either. (Note to self - must get out more)...

I bought a whicker basket picnic set,but we've never used it.It's so heavy to lug around.I suppose the idea was that you drove to your picnic spot and then lay your rug out by the car.Mr Boo always wants to walk miles along the beach!Love all your CK goodies.I'm getting my CK fix on Sat,yipee!My first car was a mini..a red one..I was so sad when I had to sell her :o(

Love that dress. Very pretty. Glad I don't live near a CK shop though. I'm dangerous enough with just a little table of stuff in my local department store! xx

Great to pop in and see you. Those motors are all such scrummy colours. Why are cars just silver or grey now??? Back soon, Ax
